How will Public Cloud services located in one of the Strasbourg datacentres be restarted?
Public Cloud instances that are currently unreachable in Strasbourg (SBG) are being made available progressively from Monday, 22 March 2021. The restoration of services is carried out according to a restart schedule that is room by room, aisle by aisle and rack by rack. However, server cleanup is required, and this will determine when certain racks are placed back into to service. In some cases, your Public Cloud service may be delivered after a certain period of time.
They will be kept in the "off" state, so that you can manage the conditions for restarting your services.
On Monday, 22 March 2021, Kubernetes clusters will be restarted and made available again.
Object Storage services located in one of the datacentres at the Strasbourg site will be progressively made available from Monday, 29 March 2021, then made available in write-mode from Wednesday, 31 March 2021. You can also access your instance snapshots again from Tuesday, 30 March 2021, so that you can restore your instances.
Resizing Public Cloud instances will also available on this date, with the exception of Sandbox instances (S1-X).
Finally, the Public Cloud Archive service will not be functional in the Strasbourg datacentre. We recommend using the Public Cloud Archive service in one of our other datacentres.
Please note that you will be notified by email at a later date regarding the restart of all these services.
