I have received an email informing me that my services will soon be restored, but I would like to replace my Bare Metal Cloud services in Strasbourg (SBG) with equivalent solutions in other OVHcloud datacentres. How do I receive the services free of charge?

In this case, in accordance with our decision to provide three months free, you will receive:

• credit corresponding to the total amount of your Bare Metal services located in Strasbourg (SBG), billed in March 2021
• free replacement of your Bare Metal services located in Strasbourg (SBG) with equivalent solutions, for a period of two months

The ordering system in the OVHcloud Control Panel is simple:

1/ Click the ‘Replace’ button
2/ Select the services concerned
3/ Accept the contracts associated with each of the replacement Bare Metal services
4/ Confirm the purchase order corresponding to a billing amount of zero euros (or your local currency) for a period of two months

Please note that if you choose this option, your old services will be cancelled. Once you have done this, you will have 60 days to manage the backups, as well as the IPs linked to your old servers.
 

• If you have already replaced your Bare Metal services in Strasbourg (SBG), you will be updated soon via email about the implementation of this free three-month service. Since your Bare Metal services will be restored, please remember to cancel them. Once you have cancelled your server, you will have 60 days to manage backups, as well as the IPs associated with your previous servers.
