From January 2026, Gmail will no longer be compatible with Gmailify and POP access features which previously allowed you to import emails from third-party email accounts.

As a result, you will no longer be able to configure your OVHcloud email addresses within Gmail.

You can always access your OVHcloud email accounts via our Webmail.

Objective

You can configure Email Pro accounts on email clients and online interfaces, if they are compatible. By doing so, you can use your email address through your preferred device or online interface.

Find out how to configure an Email Pro account on the Gmail online interface.

OVHcloud is providing you with services for which you are responsible, with regard to their configuration and management. You are therefore responsible for ensuring they function correctly.

This guide is designed to assist you in common tasks as much as possible. Nevertheless, we recommend contacting a specialised provider and/or the software publisher for the service if you encounter any difficulties. We will not be able to assist you ourselves. You can find more information in the “Go further” section of this guide.

Requirements

Instructions

Step 1: Add the Email Pro account on to the Gmail interface.

In this guide, we will use as the server name: pro?.mail.ovh.net. You will need to replace the "?" with the actual number indicating the appropriate server for your Email Pro service.

  1. Log in to your OVHcloud Control Panel.
  2. Open the Web Cloud section.
  3. Click Email Pro.
  4. Select the service concerned.
  5. The server name is displayed in the Connection box in the General Information tab.

First of all, go to the Gmail online interface via your web browser. Then log in to your account using your Gmail credentials.

Once you have logged in to the interface, click on the cogwheel icon, then See all settings.
